Mia and JT DeBolt

We talk to a lot of people interested in becoming a home based entrepreneurs everyday. They come from all walks of life; corporate professionals, stay-at-home moms, recently retired folks, military service members and everyone in between. One of the most often-asked questions is “what do I need to do to be successful?”

To us, the answer is simple: Go boldly.

Sounds simple, even a bit contrived I am sure. But it is a necessary mindset if you want to “make it” in free enterprise. Let us explain…

The world of free enterprise is awesome. If you want freedom, this is for you. If you want huge rewards for your efforts, then this is the place to be. If you like being in total control of your destiny, then you are ready for free enterprise.

But it is not easy. In fact, it will bring some people to their knees.

Getting accustomed to being your own boss takes disciple. Having total freedom also requires a lot of sacrifice; and sometimes those sacrifices cut deep during times when friends, family and loved ones will not understand your total devotion.

When the victories come, they are sweet. But when they elude you, when failure seems to spend its every waking moment swinging in the back yard of your psyche, free enterprise can be tough.

That is when it pays to be bold.

You see, few victories in life come easy. And the ones that come easy are not the kind that last forever. The kind of victories that change the course of a person’s life are hard-earned. If anyone tells you differently, they are lying to you.

But there is a way to guarantee your success. Go boldly.

You are probably asking, “Great, guys. So how do you ‘go boldly’?” Here is how…

First, decide. Decide that you are going to succeed…no matter what. Decide right here, right now that you are willing to sacrifice everything to get where you want to be. Sell out. Put everything you have into this one commitment. And DO NOT relent. Decide. It’s that simple

Second, allocate. Allocate your resources; time, money, talent, friends, family, etc. This is really important! You want to budget EVERY resource you have. Do not squander these valuable resources, because as soon as you do, they will start to deplete, and once they are gone, they are difficult to get back. Third, plan. Plan exactly how you are going to go about boldly chasing your dream. When will you work on the dream? How will you work on the dream? With whom will you mastermind? Plan every step as if it was a military operation. Think big, plan intensely, and go…go boldly.

Finally, never…NEVER give up. This is where the term ‘boldly’ come is. Because you will be tested. You will have your resolve questioned, your desire challenged, your laziness and complacency tempted.

But you must refuse to lose. You must hang on tightly to faith; faith in yourself, faith in the value of your dreams, faith in the reward of success. Hang on to it like a life ring in a turbulent ocean. And never let go.

This is the first step toward making your dreams come true. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as simply boldly grabbing life by the scruff of the neck and holding on. We’ll talk about other strategies soon. But the first and MOST IMPORTANT ingredient is to go boldly toward any goal you have.

Dream. Believe. Go Boldly.

Weird question, huh? Yeah, but it is a catchy line, I must admit. The first time I saw it was on a t-shirt at a marketing event back in March. The t-shirt tag line was meant to promote the upcoming Breakthrough event in Cancun June 23-26.

Anyway, the event is going to be amazing, and I am excited to go. A little bummed because Mia will not be there. Just a small thing, really. She gave birth to our beautiful son, Maximus Jeremy DeBolt on June 2, so she will miss this one, but be at the next event!

So, where am I going with this? Well, recently I had a major breakthrough. You see, Life Path Unlimited is more than just a direct sales company, it is a way of life.
